PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily allow construction in an existing building needless to say a new building with simple work of only installing a reinforcing tool along a corner part where a structural material such as a sill, a column and a beam of the building crosses, without requiring so much labor for construction, while providing the sufficient base isolation effect by using the inexpensive reinforcing tool having an extremely simple structure. SOLUTION: The reinforcing tool 1 is formed by laminating a viscoelastic material 13 between a plurality of spring plates 11 and 12 curved in a circular arc shape; and is arranged along the corner part where the structural material such as the sill 31, the column 32 and the beam 33 of the building 3 crosses; and is respectively fixed to the structural material of mutually crossing by sandwiching the corner part via fixing means 2 and 2 arranged in both end parts of the reinforcing tool 1.
