PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat fusing apparatus capable of suppressing worsening of a smoothness of a printing material. SOLUTION: A printing system 10 includes the heat fusing apparatus 16. In the heat fusing apparatus 16, in a state while the conveyance of the printing material P is stopped, a far-infrared heater 82 is moved by driving of belts 72a and 72b, and the printing material P disposed on a base 60 is heated by radiant heat generated by the far-infrared heater 82.
