<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and an image correction method capable of easily and accurately forming a spherical image with a corrected inclination. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device 1 includes a camera 10, and a spherical image formation means 31 forms a spherical image 40 shown by a camera coordinate system Cc of the camera from image data of a subject image 16 taken by the camera 10. The imaging device 1 includes an inclination detection sensor 50 detecting the inclination of the camera coordinate system Cc to the center-of-gravity direction in a real space, and an image correction means 32 of the imaging device 1 corrects the inclination of the spherical image 40 by rotating, based on the detection result of the inclination detection sensor 50, the camera coordinate system Cc to match a center-of-gravity vector Gs in the spherical image space to the center-of-gravity direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
