<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic air cleaner constituted so as to easily discharge moisture even if moisture penetrates into an insulating cover, which covers a conductor for mutually connecting discharge electrodes, after washing being periodic maintenance to facilitate drying and capable of shortening the resumption time of operation. <P>SOLUTION: Notches 8 and 9 are provided to the insulating covers 6 and 7, which cover the conductor 4 for connecting a plurality of needle electrodes 1 and the conductor 5 for connecting a plurality of counter electrodes 2, on the side opposite to a direction wherein the opposed conductors are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
