FLUID DYNAMIC PRESSURE BEARING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dynamic pressure bearing easy to combine with low processing cost.

SOLUTION: The fluid dynamic pressure bearing consists of a sleeve in which a shaft hole is formed and a rotation shaft which is inserted in the shaft hole and is rotated relatively to the sleeave. A minute clearance is formed between an outer peripheral surface of the rotation shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the sleeve and a dynamic pressure generation groove where a plurality of proper high pressure areas and low pressure areas are formed at the time of relative rotation is formed on the inner peripheral surface or the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve. A bottom part is sealed up at an end of the shaft hole of the sleeve. A ventilation route for communicating with the bottom part of the shaft hole is provided in the sleeve in addition to the shaft hole. Processing cost of the fluid dynamic pressure bearing of this invention is low and it is easy to combine the housing and the sleeve.
