<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device for an automatic transmission capable of being inexpensively manufactured and securing its quality. <P>SOLUTION: In this clutch device 10 for the automatic transmission wherein a piston 18 forming a hydraulic chamber 52 with a clutch drum 16, is mounted on an outer periphery of a clutch drum supporting a frictional engagement element 12, a balancer 58 forming a cancel chamber 60 with the piston 18 is mounted at a back side opposite to the hydraulic chamber 52 of the piston 18, and the clutch drum 16 is supported by a cover 24 through a thrust bearing 30, the balancer 58 is provided with an inner periphery-side cylindrical part 58b axially extended and having a window 62 opened in the radial direction, and the cover 24 is provided with a projection 24b for guiding the thrust bearing 30 in such a state that an axial position of a tip part of the projection 24b is overlapped to the window 62 on an inner peripheral side with respect to the inner periphery-side cylindrical part 58b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
