摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a piezo-resonator, which is driven by using a SH type surface wave by an IDT, small in side and low in height while keeping P/V value large and also reduced in spurious. SOLUTION: The piezo-resonator is driven by forming the IDT (interdigital transducer) 3 composed of a comb-shaped electrode on a part of a principal plane of a piezoelectric substrate consisting mainly of PbTiO<SB>3</SB>or NaNbO<SB>3</SB>of a perovskite structure and using an SH type surface wave. The piezo-resonator is an ABO<SB>3</SB>type perovskite type multiple oxide obtained by especially replacing a portion of Pb of the PbTiO3 with at least one type among La, Nd, Gd, Sr, Ca and Ba and replacing at least a portion of Ti with Mn. When the number of moles of Pb to one mole of a B site constituent element is defined as (a) and the total number of moles of elements other than Pb among A site constituent elements is defined as (b), it is preferable that a value (p) represented by (a)/ä1-(b)} is 0. 90 to 1. 00.
