PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of complicated setting relating to a facsimile delivery confirmation function requiring time and labor, and to instantaneously confirm the execution result of a facsimile transmission job. SOLUTION: In a network system in which a PC 2 (information processor) on which an SNMP function is mounted and facsimile equipment 3 are connected on a network, when the execution of the facsimile transmission job is requested from the PC 2 to the facsimile equipment 3, the facsimile equipment 3 transmits information relating to the executed result to the PC 2 by a trap after the execution of the facsimile transmission job.
