PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof television which can be supplied with power conveniently in safety even in such an environment as bathroom. SOLUTION: When a water turbine 5 is rotated by water flow 6, rotating force of the water turbine 5 is transmitted through a shaft 4 to a generator 2 which generates power being supplied to a liquid crystal television receiver 1. The liquid crystal television receiver 1 can display a television video image with power supplied from the generator 2. The waterproof liquid crystal television can thereby receive a television video image by obtaining power conveniently from rotating force of the water turbine 5. Since the liquid crystal television receiver 1 and the generator 2 are contained in a waterproof case 3 under waterproofed and insulated state, the waterproof liquid crystal television can be used in safety in such an environment as bathroom, waterside, or other place where water exists.
