PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very precise ceiling marking unit by simple operation without requiring skill of a worker. SOLUTION: This ceiling rectangular marking unit is provided with a marking device having a ceiling height measuring means, an automatic horizontality regulating means and a plurality of laser irradiation means, and a computer, the laser irradiation means has an X-axis irradiation means and a Y-axis irradiation means forming orthogonal cross-lines of X-axis and a Y-axis on a floor face and a ceiling face, and an X, Y-axis side moving irradiation means capable of emitting a laser irradiation line superposed onto the cross-line and capable of moving the laser irradiation line horizontally, the X, Y-axis side moving irradiation means is provided with one or both of an X-axis side moving irradiation means and a Y-axis side moving irradiation means, the computer is provided with a CPU, a memory, a moving position input means for the laser irradiation line, and the CPU computes an irradiation angle using a moving position input data in the computer and a ceiling height data, and moves the moving irradiation means to move the laser irradiation line in response to an irradiation angle data.
