PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator-freezer that has an ice making device for blowing cold air of low temperature of -45 to -35°C from a duct, and can suppress occurrence of frost and blowing away of the frost without largely decreasing the ice making speed, considering that, when the cold air hits water surface immediately after water is fed to an ice tray, the water evaporates, simultaneously freezes, and becomes frost, the frost is blown away out of the ice tray and drops and accumulates in an ice storage case, the icy appearance degrades, or much frost occurs. SOLUTION: An electric damper 21 is disposed in an immediately upstream part of a blow off port 20a of a cold air duct 20. In a predetermined time from water supply to the ice tray 11 until the water surface begins freezing, the opening manner of the electric damper 21 is adjusted so that the cold air blowing from the blow off port 20a hits a side surface of the ice tray 11 but does not hit the upper surface, namely the water surface before freezing. When the predetermined time lapses or the water surface freezes, the electric damper 21 is opened fully, the cold air is made to hit also the upper surface of the ice tray 11, and the ice making speed is increased.
