PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: when opening/closing a rotary door of a refrigerator, especially in the case of a door having a small turning radius such as a double-hinged door, the door is not certainly closed unless an end user imparts strong propulsive force to the door, and there is risk of finger pinching or the like in addition to generation of large sound when closing the door because door closing speed is large in such the case. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with a mechanism such as a spring or a gear propelling door closing force, and the door is certainly closed. At that time, the mechanism is cut off in time of the door opening for taking-in/out or the like of food to maintain a door opening state, so that the mechanism imparts the door closing propulsive force only just before the door closes.
