<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the exhaust of gas whose amount surpasses the purifying capability of a catalyst during warm-up. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid ECU executes a program which includes a step (S104) of calculating the SOC of a battery when there is a request for preliminary air conditioning operation (YES in S100), a step (S108) of prohibiting the preliminary air conditioning operation if the SOC does not satisfy the conditions of being greater than SOC (Y%) required for executing warm-up travel (NO in S104), and a step (S110) of informing an occupant of prohibiting the preliminary air conditioning operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
