PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer contents using a method corresponding to the copyright management method of an information processor to which they are transferred. SOLUTION: A content processing device is provided with a transfer mode detection part 616 for detecting the transfer mode of a content reproducing device 20 connected; a first transfer process part 618 that, when the transfer mode is a first mode and the contents to be transferred have been transferred from the content processing device 10 to the content reproducing device, updates right information corresponding to the contents stored in the content processing device, while deleting right information corresponding to the contents stored in the content reproducing device; and a second transfer process part 622 that, when the transfer mode is a second mode and a group ID given to the content processing device is included in a source ID list stored in the content reproducing device, transfers the contents to be transferred from the content reproducing device to the content processing device.
