PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the correction leakage of a policy rule whose correction is necessary owing to a configuration change, when the configuration of the system is changed. SOLUTION: This policy management apparatus 1 is provided with a processing part and a policy rule table 151 in which at least one policy rule is stored for each of the components of a computer system. Then, the processing part carries out a reception step for receiving configuration change notification for each of the components of the computer system, a detection step for detecting at least one component which is affected by the configuration change of the components received in the reception step, and a preparation step for specifying the policy rule corresponding to each of the components detected in the detection step from the policy rule table 151, and for preparing the list of the specified policy rules.
