PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device for thinning a storage section having a plurality of trays. SOLUTION: The plurality of trays 21 stored in a body 13 are energized so that an optical disk 12 stored in the trays 21 is held in a thickness direction. Therefore, by blocking the gap between the trays 21 and the optical disk 12, the thickness of the plurality of trays 21 is reduced and the optical disk device 10 can be miniaturized. And the plurality of trays 21 are energized so that they are held in a thickness direction elastically by a spring member 17. As a result, press exceeding prescribed resilient force does not operate on the optical disk 12 stored in the trays 21, thus preventing the stored optical disk 12 from being damaged.
