PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded product of a cyclic olefinic polymer maintaining transparency and suppressing discoloring or fading. SOLUTION: The method for producing the molded product of the cyclic olefinic resin is carried out as follows. A polymer represented by general formula (7) or (8) äwherein, x and y denote each the copolymerization ratio and are each a real number satisfying (50/50)≤y/x≤(95/5); n denotes the number of substitution of substituents Q and is an integer of 0≤n≤2; R<SP>1</SP>s are each one or two or more kinds of (2+n)-valent groups selected from the group of 2-20C hydrocarbon groups; R<SP>2</SP>s are each one or two or more kinds of monovalent groups selected from a hydrogen atom and≥1C to≤10C structural groups composed of carbons and hydrogens; R<SP>3</SP>s are each one or two or more kinds of bivalent groups selected from the group of 2-10C hydrocarbon groups; and Qs are each one or two or more kinds of bivalent groups selected from structural groups represented by COOR<SP>4</SP>} is polymerized, then directly plasticized and molded with a molding machine without carrying out heat melting.
