<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a weather strip for a vehicle door not generating the waving phenomenon of the weather strip caused by a variation with age and heat deformation and not requiring a T stud in the vehicle door mounted with the weather strip made to be along at least one of a pair of edge parts at a side parallel to an opening/closing central axis of an openable/closable door panel and burying a gap of the door panel edge part and an opposed member. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the weather strip for the vehicle door has a clamping strip for clamping the weather strip between a plurality of engagement holes formed on the weather strip with a gap in the longitudinal direction, a plurality of fixing holes formed in the inner surface of the door panel corresponding to the plurality of engagement holes of the weather strip and the door panel; and a lengthy clip integrally formed with the clamping strip and having a plurality of insertion engagement projections so as to stride over the respective engagement holes of the weather strip and the respective fixing holes of the door panel and inserted/engaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
