SIGNAL MULTIPLEXING/DEMULTIPLEXING METHOD AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal multiplexing/demultiplexing method and a communication system for setting a lower frequency band of different kinds of modulation signals to be multiplexed even when the transmission rate of the baseband digital signal is high.

SOLUTION: The communication system 10 comprises a first transmitting means 11 for generating a first transmitting signal repeated periodically; a second transmitting means 12 for generating a second transmitting signal having a frequency band between comb-teeth 2, 2 in the comb type frequency spectrum characteristic of the first transmitting signal; a signal multiplexing means 13 for generating a multiplex signal obtained by frequency multiplexing of the first transmitting signal and the second transmitting signal; a transmission path 20 for transmitting the multiplex signal; a signal demultiplexing means 14 for demultiplexing the multiplexing signal into a first demultiplexing signal obtained by removing only the frequency band of the second transmitting signal from the multiplexing signal, and a second demultiplexing signal obtained by extracting only the frequency band of the second transmitting signal from the multiplexing signal; a first receiving means 15 for receiving the first demultiplexing signal; and a second receiving means 16 for receiving a second demultiplexing signal.
