<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight of an outer ring by a channel securely and prevent quenching depth from being obstructed even when quenching is applied to an outer side raceway surface by forming the channel on an inner peripheral face of the outer ring while leaving a shoulder part being flat in the axial direction from the outer side raceway surface. <P>SOLUTION: A channel part 23 is provided on the inner peripheral face of the outer ring 18 to reduce weight of the outer ring, and a plane of 2 mm or more is formed in the shoulder parts 26, 27 on the outer ring raceway surface forming the channel to prevent occurrence of quenching crack due to concentration of quenching in the shoulder parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
