<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which highly facilitates the separation of a transparent panel positioned before a pattern display device for the maintenance or others of the pattern display device while the pattern display device is arranged almost over the entire playing area. <P>SOLUTION: In a pachinko game machine 1, a starter chucker 15 which allows the entry of the game balls serving as the opportunity leading to the execution of the jackpot lottery and a pattern display device 10 for displaying the figures are arranged in the playing area 7a provided on the main body of the game machine. The game balls are shot out to the playing area 7a to carry out the games. In the pachinko game machine 1, the playing area 7a is made up of almost the entire area of the display surface of the pattern display device 10 and a transparent panel 6 which is positioned before it to cover almost the entire area of the display surface.
