PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microstrip antenna with a simple configuration for varying the direction of an integral radio wave beam. SOLUTION: A plurality of antenna electrodes 11, 12, 13, 14 on the front surface of a board 1 are connected to a ground electrode on the back surface of the board 1 via through hole connection members penetrating the board 1 at respective predetermined positions 11A to 11C, 12A to 12C, 13A to 13C, 14A to 14C. Each of the through hole connection members may be opened/closed by a switch. A radio wave beam outputted from that antenna electrode deviates in phase from the radio wave beams outputted from the other antenna electrodes, whereby the direction of the integral radio wave beam is tilted. Connecting which one of the positions 11A to 11C, 12A to 12C, 13A to 13C, 14A to 14C to the ground electrode significantly changes the direction and magnitude of the integral radio wave beam.
