PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front-end head for a foundation pile which has a strong supportive force and is constructed easily at a low cost. SOLUTION: The front-end head 1 including a wing body 3 extending outwardly from the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical body 2 is for the foundation pile buried in the ground by a cylindrical casing 10. The head 1 comprises an engaging part (a projection 4) formed on the body to be engageable with an engaged part (cutout part 11) formed in the casing. The wing body is formed by radially splitting a ring-shaped plate having the inner diameter capable of being fitted externally to the body, and includes a plurality of split plates 3a, 3b arranged on a same horizontal plane. Each of the split plates includes a horizontal part 7, a first bent part 8 continued from the horizontal part and bent upward at a split end side, and a second bent part 9 continued from the horizontal part and bent downward at the other split end side. In the split plates adjacent to each other out of the plurality of split plates, the first bent part of the split plate and the second bent part of the adjacent split plate are close to each other.
