PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray inspection device for detecting the occurrence of a stay of an article with higher accuracy than in the past. SOLUTION: In this X-ray inspection device 10, a control computer 20 determines whether the stay of a conveyed article G in a shield box 11 has occurred or not based on the detection timing of the article G by sensors 17a, 17b, 18a and 18b, disposed on carry-in and carry-out openings 11a and 11b, and by an X-ray line sensor 14.
