PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container holding structure for a vehicle, in which a lid member can be closed depending on the kinds of containers even in use, and in which there is no risk of spill of potable water from the container even when the lid member is touched while it is opened. SOLUTION: Opening/closing of the lid member 12 and rise and fall of a partition member 32 are combined as illustrated in drawings a-d, so that drink containers 56-59 of different sizes can be freely held. A partition member 32 is structurally provided having a second bottom surface 52 above a first bottom surface 51 inside a main body part 11 equivalent to the bottom of the main body part 11. With the container 56 of lower height, the lid member 12 can be closed, and an upper surface of the lid member 12 in a closed state can be used like an arm rest. Since the partition member 32 is provided on the main body part 11, the second bottom surface 52 is not deflected even when the lid member 21 is touched, and there is no risk of spill of drink from the container 56-59.
