PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a jig of cleaning easily a terminal of a card edge connector mounted on a mother board or the like of a personal computer while the mother board is assembled in the cabinet. SOLUTION: The cleaning agent which is permeated from a cleaning agent tank 14 through an infiltration tube 15 is made to be absorbed by a fabric material 13 supplied as appropriate and the edge part 11 of a base material 10 engaged with a card edge type connector and covered by the fabric material permeated with the cleaning agent is made as a cleaning base material.
