PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch composed by improving operability of the switch without needing a separate component (for instance, a cover) other than the switch. SOLUTION: This push-button switch 1 is provided with an operation button part 5, and an operation shaft 6 for executing an opening-closing operation of a switch contact in conjunction with the operation button part 5. The push-button switch 1 includes: a cylindrical casing 10 having an insertion hole for inserting the operation shaft 6 therein; a lock operation member 14 mounted to the upper surface of the cylindrical casing 10, having an insertion hole for inserting the operation shaft 6 therein, and rotatable around the axis of the cylindrical casing 10; and an engagement means (an engagement projection 20 and an engagement groove 21) for engaging the operation shaft 6 with the lock operation member 14 by rotating the lock operation member 14 to a predetermined position with the operation shaft 6 pressed in to bring the axial movement of the operation shaft 6 in a locked state.
