PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of suppressing the housing difficulty of a tray in a case by preventing the deformation of the tray and a tray cover caused by fitting shifting between the tray and the tray cover or the shocks in a disk loading direction which occur when an external load is applied. SOLUTION: This optical disk device is provided with at least a case 2, a tray 3 disposed to be freely housed in or pulled out from the case 2, and a metal tray cover 13 disposed in the tray 3. The the tray 3 and the tray cover 13 are fixed to each other by holes formed in the tray 3 and the tray cover 13 by a fixing means for fixing the tray 3 and the tray cover 13 and the fixing means.
