PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine piston structure capable of lightening a piston by shortening a piston pin in the engine piston structure and of eliminating possibility for occurrence of scuff by preventing stress concentration on a pin boss portion and by ensuring a contact area between a skirt part and a cylinder inner wall. SOLUTION: Each connection side wall 36 is formed of a vertical portion 36a extending vertically from a lower surface of a crown part 31 and an inclined portion 36b tilting to expand downward from a lower end of the vertical portion 36a. The vertical portion 36a and the inclined portion 36b are set so that the vertical portion 36a is located at a position just above the pin boss portion 34 and the inclined portion 36b is located at a position below the pin boss portion 34.
