PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal method for a foundation pile, which enables even the foundation pile of a huge size to be removed with ease, and which enables the shortening of a construction period and a reduction in cost. SOLUTION: When the foundation pile 1 is removed, a core-extracted part 1a is formed by drilling a hole in an axial core part of the foundation pile 1 after a pile head part of the foundation pile 1 is exposed by firstly digging up the ground. After that, a peripheral edge of the core-extracted part 1a is rotatively destroyed by means of an excavating blade 11a, while a rock auger 11 rotatively penetrates into the core-extracted part 1a. Finally, a peripheral edge of the foundation pile 1 remaining after destruction is pulled up to the ground by an accompanying crane 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
