PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system for a railway rolling stock having a small movable part, friendly to an environment, with high energy conversion efficiency, and capable of saving energy. SOLUTION: This system comprises a first flow passage 6 for transferring calorie generated when a magnetic field from a strong magnetic field generator 5 mounted to the rolling stock increases, a first pump 7 and a first heat exchanging part 8 provided in the first flow passage 6, a second flow passage 9 for transferring cold heat when the magnetic field from the strong magnetic field generator 5 decreases, and a second pump 10 and a second heat exchanging part 11 provided in the second flow passage 9. When the magnetic field from the strong magnetic field generator 5 increases, the first pump 7 is turned from OFF to ON and the second pump 10 is turned from ON to OFF for radiating heat from the first heat exchanging part 8. When the magnetic field from the strong magnetic field generator 5 decreases, the second pump 10 is turned from OFF to ON and the first pump 7 is turned from ON to OFF for cooling by the second heat exchanging part 11.
