<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment apparatus having a simple structure which enables an increase in the wastewater treatment apparatus of general wastewater treatment facilities or small-to-medium-sized enterprises, enhanced in the volume reducing efficiency of sludge and capable of being installed at a low cost, and a sludge treatment method using it. <P>SOLUTION: The sludge treatment apparatus is constituted of a pump 1 for sucking a sludge slurry S to pressurize it, a nozzle 2 for ejecting the sludge slurry S pressurized by the pump 1, the impact plate 4 arranged in opposed relation to the jet orifice 3 provided to the leading end of the nozzle 2 and a boxlike reactor 5 for housing the nozzle 2 and the impact plate 4. The sludge slurry S pressurized by the pump 1 is ejected to the impact plate 4 from the nozzle 2 to be micronizing by the collision with the impact plate 4 of the sludge slurry S. Accordingly, this sludge treatment apparatus is easily increased in existing equipment because the degree of freedom of this treatment apparatus shows a high apparatus constitution and the increase cost of this treatment apparatus can be suppressed because a special material or part is not used. Further, the treatment capacity of this treatment apparatus can be further enhanced by supplying an oxidizing agent 9 to the reactor 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
