PET FOOD AND METHOD FOR OFFERING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pet food for maintaining the health of pets such as dogs and cats and preventing diseases.

SOLUTION: The pet food contains an oligosaccharide and at least one kind selected from useful lactic acid bacteria applied, Bacillus natto and active oxygen splitting enzyme with acidproof coating. The pet food is gelatin-encapsulated through dissolving or dispersing at least one kind selected from phytosterol, vitamin and mineral in a medium chain triglyceride. A method for offering the pet food comprises refrigerating or freezing the pet food and giving it to pets simultaneously with ordinary feed.
