<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colored plastic product in which a plastic base is colored in a stable density and a coating film as a coloration medium is surely removed by washing with water and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A coating film consisting essentially of an anionic surfactant is formed on a plastic lens and ink is supplied to the surface of the coating film by an inkjet method. Then the lens is heated, the colorant is transferred to the lens side and the coating film is removed by washing in water to give the lens.
