PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting device capable of easily and quickly adjusting a length of a control cable. SOLUTION: In this adjusting device 10 comprising a rod 11 and a holder 12 axially movably mounted on one end of the rod 11, and adjusting a free-moving length of a cable connected with the other end of the rod 11, a lock piece 13 is mounted on the holder 12 movably in the direction orthogonal to its axis, and a first spring 37 is mounted between the holder 12 and the rod 11 to energize the holder in the direction to increase a length of the cable.
