PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist a passage through an intersection by accurately predicting the time required for passing through the intersection. SOLUTION: On the basis of outputs of: a navigation system 2; a blinker switch 4; a center communication device 52; a VICS communication device 53; an inter-vehicular communication device 54; an extra-vehicular camera 55, etc., records of passage of other vehicles; records of movement of a self vehicle; statistical data; the state of signals; the state of surrounding vehicles; and information on pedestrians are judged to predict the time required for the self vehicle to pass through the intersection.
