PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power efficiency by switching off a switching element on a low side with optimum timing even if the temperature changes, in an IC for switching power control, which is equipped with a reflux preventive circuit for switching off the switch element on the low side by detecting the reflux at the time of light load, or a switching power unit using it. SOLUTION: In the IC (20) for switching power control, which is equipped with a reflux detecting circuit (23) having a comparator (CMP1), or the switching power unit using it, the reference voltage for reflux detection inputted into the comparator (CMP1) or the input offset of the comparator has temperature dependency.
