PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor capable of simplifying manufacturing processes, and facilitating wire connection among armature coils. SOLUTION: This motor is provided with an armature unit 110 including an armature core unit 401 which is jointed with a plurality pairs of different-phase core units 301, 302, the armature coils 201-206 attached onto the respective armature cores 1, a power supply terminal 5a connected with beginning portions 201a-203a on the base edge side of the armature coils of the different-phase core unit 301 on the power supply side, a neutral linear plate 5 which connects between ends 204b-206b on the top edge side of the armature coil of the different-phase core unit 302 on the opposite side to the power supply side, ends 201b-203b on the top edge side of the pair of respective phases armature coil 301 near to the power supply of the different-phase core unit, and a crossover plate 6 connecting beginning portions 204a-206a on the base edge side of the pair of respective phases in the remotest armature coil 302 from the power supply of the different-phase core unit.
