PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker device with stable operation by restricting a pressure variation caused by a change in ambient temperature or inner pressure and generated at a space, which includes absorbent for absorbing gas physically. SOLUTION: The speaker device includes a cabinet 10, a speaker unit 11, an absorbent 12 arranged at a hollow room R, a rear face plate 13, an inlet valve 14, and an exhaust valve 15. In this way, a variation in sound pressure at the rear face plate of the speaker unit 11 is restricted through physical absorption function of the absorbent 12 and low-pitched sound reproduction is realized in a small cabinet. The pressure variation inside the cabinet caused by a change in ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure is restricted through air intake and exhaust of the inlet valve 14 and the exhaust valve 15.
