PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label pasting apparatus which pastes a label neatly on a fragile and curved surface such as the surface of eggs or fruit. SOLUTION: According to the label pasting apparatus, a label 12 is peeled from a release sheet 11, on which a plurality of labels 12 are pasted temporarily, by a peeling means 5, and is sucked and held by a pasting means 7 located downstream in the apparatus, then is pasted on an article 8 by a press means 15. The pasting means 7 comprises a plurality of endless belts 18 which are laid over to bridge a first roller 16 arranged near the peeling means 5 and a second roller 17 arranged downstream with each belt 18 spaced longitudinally of the rollers 16, 17, a suction means 19 which sucks and holds the peeled label 12 on the outer surfaces of the endless belts 18, and a driving source 20 which rotates the endless belts 18 to transfer the peeled label 12 to the central part between the first and second rollers 16, 17.
