PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of obtaining good steering feeling and high steering stability, even if variation in characteristics of components structuring a steering mechanism exist. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device comprises a steering range estimating means estimating a range where a driver returns a steering wheel from a rotating direction of an electric motor, without a steering angle sensor; a deviation calculating means calculating a deviation between a torque sensor value to a rotation angle of the electric motor in the steering range and a target torque sensor value to the rotation angle of the electric motor stored in advance; and a correcting means correcting a control map in case that the deviation is not less than a predetermined value.
