<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material with almost no color drift which is excellent in plate wear resistance and capable of imparting excellent image quality to printed matter, and a printing plate using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The printing plate material is provided with an image forming function layer on one face of a polyester support and two or more back coat layers on the other face of the polyester support. At least one of the back coat layers is a conductive layer. The printing plate material has a layer on the conductive layer. The layer includes at least one kind of resin selected from a polyester resin, an acrylic resin, an acrylic modified polyester resin, and a cellulose ester resin.
