<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide recombinant herpesvirus of turkeys, and to provide use thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The recombinant herpesvirus of turkeys is provided, which contains a foreign DNA sequence encoding cytokine and is inserted within an insertion region having Xho I site of the EcoR1 #9 fragment of the herpesvirus genome of turkeys, and the foreign DNA sequence encoding cytokine is capable of being expressed in a host cell infected with the herpesvirus of turkeys. The recombinant chimera of a herpesvirus of turkeys and Marek's disease virus, having a unique long viral genome region of herpesvirus of turkeys and a unique short viral genome region of Marek's disease virus is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
