LUMBER JOINING SCREW MEMBER AND LUMBER JOINING STRUCTURE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumber joining structure, facilitating removal in knocking down and forming a joint part rich in toughness to bear large deformation. SOLUTION: In this joining screw member 1, a head 3 having an engagement 3A where a rotary tool engages is formed at one end of a shaft part 2 where a screw groove N is formed. A drill blade part 4 is formed at the other end of the shaft part 2, and a screw shaft part 2A is screwed in a leading hole bored by a drill blade part 4 in screwing in the lumber, thereby connecting the joining screw member to the lumber. Preferably the shaft part 2 is made of material not causing breakage due to deformation. The shaft part 2 may have breakage resisting characteristic not to cause breakage until it reaches bending deformation of 25 degrees. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
