COMPONENT BASED ON ORGANIC LIGHT-EMITTING DIODES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

The aim of the present invention is to provide a component which is based on an organic light-emitting diode and which has an improved filling factor and efficiency. For this purpose, the component comprises a substrate, a first electrode (130) next to said substrate, a second electrode (160) at a distance from said substrate, and at least one light-emitting organic layer (150) interposed between the two electrodes. The light emitted in the active zone is transmitted through one of the two electrodes, the first electrode being pixel-oriented and an insulating layer (140) being interposed between adjacent pixels. The component is characterized in that the insulating layer (150) is optically coupled with the light-emitting layer (150) and comprises optically active, light-scattering heterogeneities (180, 190) which increase the filling factor. The insulating layer is microstructured to match the pixel structure of the first electrode and is applied thereto. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a component.
