The impedance commutator consists of two virtually identical bipolar NPN transistors (Q1, Q2), each with a base driver for controlling the flow of a current between their emitter and collector. The two transistors are located in series and in opposition on either side of a impedance matching arrangement (RE1, RE2). Each transistor has its collector connected to a terminal (L1, L2) of the impedance converter (9) through an isolating capacitor (C1, C4), while its emitter is connected to the impedance matching arrangement. The same control signal (VC) is applied to the base of both transistors.
|
