The lifter has a drive (20) with a disk (14) at a guide way (22) in a vertical, straight or curved level. The drive has a spring unit for pre-stressing a guiding unit of a drive in a direction (60) perpendicular to the vertical level, where the guide unit includes a sliding unit. The guide way is arranged in such a manner that the spring unit is differently pre-stressed during switching of the drive along the guide way.
