<p>The gelling agent according to the present invention comprises a polysilane which has a main chain structure of silicon and contains fluorine on the side chain of the main chain structure. The polysilane causes, in a single molecule, interaction such as Si···F-C between fluorine (F) on the side chain and silicon (Si) on the main chain, and C-F···H-C between fluorine (F) on the side chain and hydrogen (H) on the side chain. Therefore, the gelling agent according to the present invention enables the above interaction caused in a single molecule of the polysilane to occur between molecules using Si···F-C as a domain, and coordination crosslinking can be caused between polymer chains to form a network structure necessary for gelation, whereby a gelling agent, which can cause gelation of such a polar solvent that inhibits the formation of a hydrogen bond, and, at the same time, can provide highly stable gel, can be provided.</p> |
