<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal cap seamed container and a method of seaming a metal cap on a container capable of improving a falling-down strength without spoiling sealing properties on the outer peripheral face side of a tip curled part. <P>SOLUTION: The metal cap seamed container is equipped with a container body 10 with a metal opening neck part 11, and a metal cap 20 attached on the opening neck part 11. On the back surface of the top plate part 21 of the cap 20, a seal material 30 brought into tight contact with the tip curl part 12 provided on the upper end edge of the opening neck part 11 is provided. On the corner part of the top plate part 21 and a skirt part 22, a narrowed part 23 is formed by narrowing the top plate part 21 into a small diameter to bring the seal material 30 into tight contact with the side face of the outer peripheral side of the tip curl part 12. On the skirt part 22, a female screw part 24 molded by following the shape of the male screw part 13 provided on the opening neck part 11 of the container is provided.
