<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an optical radio communication apparatus that transmits signals via optical radio waves, small-sized, capable of highly accurately and fast performing optical axis matching, and appropriate also for indoor use. <P>SOLUTION: An optical control element 3 that reflects a part of incident light and transmits the remaining light, is combined with a reflection optical system 4 capable of controlling a deflection angle to an optical axis of the incident light, there are arranged a light emitting element 1 and lens 2 for transmitting light or pilot light of a data signal, a lens 5 and first light receiving element 6 for obtaining a location information signal from the pilot light from an opposite party apparatus, and a data receiving unit 39 for receiving light of the data signal from the opposite party apparatus, and the deflection angle of the reflection optical system 4 is controlled based on the location information signal obtained in the first light receiving element 6, so that optical axis matching between received light from the opposite party apparatus and light transmitted by the present apparatus is coaxially performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
